A man that had been forgotten throughout the presidential history, he was probably the best candidate for the United States. He did what every American wants to do; follow the American Dream. He starts out poor and as an orphan, but ends up as a highly ranked official in many organizations, and even running as a competitor for the presidency. His name is George Edwin Taylor. He never had the easiest childhood. His mother died in his earlier years, and his father wasn’t around. He grew up around Iowa as a “born leader”. He never graduated from school, which was common for that time. After school however, he became a newspaper reporter, and eventually became an editor for the La Crosse Evening Star. He was born in the year of 1857 in Little Rock, Arkansas. From 1891 to 1910, he lived in Oskaloosa and Ottumwa, Iowa, where he published a magazine called the Negro Solicitor. A major role that is a common problem in this generation, though it does not effect everyone, is that the increase in technology and distractions are rising to a maximum. An increase of distractions in the way of social media, video games, etc. is causing people to lose focus. This loss of focus can result in an overwhelming amount of failure of assignments.
